Senior Network & Security Engineer (Aruba ClearPass)

Location: Dublin
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: €80,000 – €115,000 DOE

We’re partnering with an organisation who are looking to add a Senior Network & Security Engineer with deep expertise in Aruba ClearPass. This role is suited to someone who owns secure access design and delivery across large, regulated environments and is comfortable acting as a technical authority.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role with responsibility across NAC strategy, secure campus networks, and identity-aware network controls, supporting complex enterprise customers.

The Role

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Aruba ClearPass across enterprise and campus networks

• Own advanced NAC architectures including 802.1X, profiling, posture assessment, and guest/BYOD access

• Act as the senior escalation point for ClearPass and access-control-related issues

• Integrate NAC with wider security and networking platforms (firewalls, identity providers, SIEM where appropriate)

• Provide technical leadership during delivery, upgrades, and complex troubleshooting

• Contribute to secure network design standards and best practices

• Produce and review high-quality technical documentation and designs

• Operate in environments aligned to recognised security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI, etc.)

• Engage directly with senior technical stakeholders and delivery teams

Experience & Skills

Required:

• Significant hands-on experience with Aruba ClearPass in enterprise environments

• Strong background as a Senior Network & Security Engineer

• Proven delivery experience within regulated or compliance-driven environments

• Deep understanding of secure wired and wireless network design

• Strong troubleshooting capability across NAC, authentication, and access enforcement

• Comfortable working across multiple Dublin-based sites when required

Certifications (or equivalent experience):

• Aruba ClearPass / Aruba Networking at Professional level or higher

• Juniper and/or Aruba enterprise networking certifications

Nice to Have

• Expert-level exposure to Aruba or Juniper enterprise platforms

• Experience with additional security vendors (Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, etc.)

• CISSP, CEH, or similar security certification

• Experience designing access control for large, complex estates
